Friday March 29 2008 | The Japari Big Walk | Japari School | What a success! Held on a lovely Saturday March, 29. This was the PTA's first fundraiser of the year. Both children and parents came to enjoy and support this event.They enjoyed some exercise but also a fun- filled day. The Japari sound team kept everyone entertained with music and the PTA kept tummies full and thirst quenced with their food stalls. The Big Walk was certainly a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all who participated. | ||||||

Friday March 28 2008 | Japari's Monitors and Mentors | Japari School | The Monitors/ Mentors assembly took place on Friday 28 March. This assembly marked the culmination of a prosess which began in Grade 6, when each learner was observed, challenged and tested in a number of ways. The ability to demonstrate responsibility, commitment and self-actualisation are the criteria by which Monitors are allocated certain portfolios. | ||||||

Friday March 20 2008 | The Easter Outreach | 2800 Easter eggs were distributed to the Salvation Army, CHOC and Khanyisweni Shelter for thr Homeless. The hundreds of eggs were received gratefully. Japari's learners showed that they care for those who are less fortunate than they are. | |||||||

Friday March 7 2008 | Inter House Swimming Gala | Japari School | We were blessed with a beautiful day for this event. It was great to see so many parents who came to support their children. All pupils took part. They either swam in the fun event or competed in the major events for points for their houses. The gala proved that we have some fine swimmers at Japari. | ||||||

26 September 2007 | Heritage Day Celebration | Japari School | Our Heritage Day celebrations this year took a slightly different form! Each Grade was allocated a country and were encouraged to perform a song, poem or dance representing that country. The children dressed up in appropriate clothing and the Grade 7 children had stalls selling food stuffs and novelties associated with these countries. It was an amazing morning, and everyone had a wonderful time - and the children learned a lot about other cultures! | ||||||
