Situated just off Jan Smuts Avenue, Japari is a stone's throw away from the Johannesburg Zoo. Although in a built-up residential area with the bustling city of Johannesburg not far away, the occasional roar of lions at dusk and the excited babble of monkeys can often be heard from the zoo across the road - wonderful reminders of our African roots.

Being so close, Japari often visits the Johannesburg Zoo which is always thoroughly enjoyed by all who participate. Our close proximity to the Zoo Lake area also enables us to make use of their sporting facilities which serve as our “home ground”.

Japari's closeness to the city allows us to utilize all that the city has to offer which provides rich and relevant experiences for our children in terms of art, theatre and other cultural institutions.
