The main pedestrian entrance to Japari is dominated on the left by our well-loved and utilized “LAPA”. This warm, attractive wood and thatch structure embodies the best of Africa and provides a very convenient waiting area after school hours for students and parents alike. In addition, the Lapa doubles as a very useful function facility, especially when a marquee is added to accommodate parents' evenings and functions such as the Japari Moonlight Mardi Gras.
As one enters through our pedestrian gates, Gardiner House can be seen further up the driveway.
